Job Responsibilities
- Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
- Liaising with internal customers and maintaining strong supplier relations.
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
- Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting the supply chain management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Ensure the highest quality, best prices and on-time delivery for the goods/services purchased and meet specific technical specifications.
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
- Compare suppliers’ bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
- Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
- Back-charge vendors & suppliers for defective/short/non-supply of materials.
- Following up with Finance for the vender payments.
- Following customs clearance process with our customs brokers.
- Ensuring the accuracy of HS code applied to every imported shipment
- Ensuring on-time submission of customs clearance paper to the local authorities.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
- Preparing reports and maintaining procurement records.
- Ensuring that purchasing activities in accordance with the local & international legal, governmental and company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
- 2-year Experience
Minimum Skills
- Good command in English Language (Verbal and Written)
- Highly Proactive
- Good in documentation and reporting
- Excellent work flexibility
